A Feng-Shui request to rotate the entrance by 37.5 degrees became the project's core design driver, turning a linear site into a meandering sequence of angled rooms. This geometry slows the visitor's pace, revealing shifting views of the stonework garden and Masatoshi Izumi's final sculpture. Light and shadow interact with the stainless-steel surfaces to amplify each turn. The result is a flexible, culturally rich venue shaped by constraint into opportunity.
