This project was an invited competition involving six domestic and international architectural practices. Located on Renai Road, the site faces the former Air Force Headquarters and is bordered by the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University to the rear. Surrounded by streets on all four sides, the site takes on an elongated geometry as Renai Road widens diagonally along its frontage.
Responding to these site conditions, RCPA+ proposed a twin-tower scheme, with the tower facing Ren'ai Road subtly rotated to align with the site's diagonal geometry. This maneuver enlarges the arrival court and drop-off area at the podium while generating a series of stepped terraces above. The cascading balconies give each tower a distinct architectural identity, while allowing every residence to enjoy dual-aspect views overlooking the tree-lined boulevard.
