Located beside Fengle Park, “Mr. L” is a residential development composed of four units per floor. The design team believes that the identity of a residential building is often defined by its silhouette within the city skyline. A home should be recognizable from afar, offering residents a sense of familiarity, belonging, and anticipation as they return each day.

The project employs a recessed building mass to transform the entrance into a gradual transition from the city to home. Residents approach through a tree-lined forecourt, where landscape, light, and shadow slow the pace of arrival. Rather than creating a dramatic sequence, the design encourages a subtle psychological shift—from the rhythm of the city to the intimacy of domestic life.

Entering the lobby, opening the door, and stepping into the private realm become part of a carefully choreographed journey of return.
